Toyota will withdraw more than one million cars because of risk of ignition


Response will concern some Prius models 2016-2018 of years of release, hybrids of Prius Prime and gas-electric versions of C-HR. The Toyota carmaker recalls more than one million Prius and C-HR cars worldwide for repair of a part of electric system which can lead to fire emergence. About it on Wednesday, September 5, The Wall Street Journal reports. According to the edition, a response will concern some Prius models 2016-2018 of years of release, hybrids of Prius Prime and gas-electric versions of C-HR. In the USA Toyota recalls 192 thousand cars, also a response will concern Japan. As it is noted, it is connected with problems at assembly of cars. The representative of the company has told that in September in Japan there was already one fire because of defect of wires, however nobody has suffered. We will remind, before Toyota has invested 500 million dollars in Uber. Also it was reported that Volkswagen recalls 700 thousand cars because of ignition threat.
