The Football Union of Russia is threatened by sanctions of FIFA because of matches in the Crimea


Two Russian clubs in 2017 participated in matches on the occupied peninsula. FIFA began investigation concerning the Football Union of Russia, reports telegrams channels "Mutko against". In 2017 two Russian clubs – Anzhi-2 and the Falcon, took part in a winter cup of the Crimea on soccer. The same teams took part in a cup of the Crimea and in 2018. All matches, naturally, were played in the territory of the annexed peninsula which FIFA and UEFA Russian do not recognize. The International Federation of Association Football is sure that participation of two Russian clubs in the Crimean tournament was coordinated by the football union. And if FIFA is able to prove it, then RFU is waited by sanctions and very serious. In September the Polish edition published the LCh card with the Russian Crimea, but at once apologized.
