Russia limited import of the Ukrainian pork because of AChS


The Russian region toughens control of transportation of pork because of the infected pigs found on a dump in Kharkiv. In the Belgorod region of Russia introduced restrictions for import of the Ukrainian pork. It is said on the website of regional government of Federal service on veterinary and sanitary inspection. There reminded that last week on a dump in Kharkiv the fallen pigs infected with the AChS virus were found. "Due to the aggravation of an epizootic situation on spread of a virus of the African plague of pigs letters to customs service and Border management with a request are sent to strengthen control of movement through border of livestock products in hand luggage and baggage of passengers. For prevention of a drift of a virus on the territory of the area, import of any pig-breeding products from Ukraine is forbidden", - it is said in the statement.
