The new 14-month Stand-By program for 3.9 billion dollars is concentrated on four priorities. The new program of cooperation of the International Monetary Fund with Ukraine of Stand-By includes four priorities. It is said in the statement of the IMF following the results of a meeting of the Board of Directors of Fund. In particular, the program will be concentrated on: continuation of consolidation of the budget to hold a public debt on its way to reduction; decrease of the inflation rate at preservation of a flexible exchange rate; strengthening of the financial sector, assistance in restoration of assets and restoration of bank crediting; advance of specifically directed complex of structural reforms, especially for improvement of processes of administration of taxes, privatization and management. According to the Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund David Lipton, "the new Stand-By program will provide a support for economic policy of the authorities next year, keeping recent positive trends in economy and continuing a way to steadier growth (economies are an edition)". "Together with support of the World Bank and the EU the arrangement will help Ukraine to cover her financial requirements", - he added. "Further progress with anti-corruption reforms and in the sphere of privatization will help to attract investments and to improve business climate in general. Priorities include start of work of Anti-corruption court, privatization of the large state enterprises, streamlining with regulation and advance with a land reform", - Lipton told. He also noted adoption of the "reliable" state budget for 2019, increase in tariffs for gas and heating and adoption of the legislation for improvement of management in national banks. "Full and timely implementation of the program will be crucial for its success in light of difficult tasks", - the representative of the IMF added. As it was reported, the day before the board of directors of the IMF approved the new program of financing for Ukraine for 3.9 billion dollars.
