On Wall Street sharply worsened the forecast for prices of oil

Bank analysts of Wall Street in December sharply worsened forecasts of prices of oil in 2019 because of fears connected with easing of demand and excess production of hydrocarbons at world level. Results of monthly poll of The Wall Street Journal demonstrate to it. So, oil of the North Sea Brent brand in 2019 will cost an average of a little more than $69 for barrel instead of about $77 which were expected in November for barrel, predict 13 representatives of the investment banks participating in poll. For North American WTI assessment is reduced from about $70 to a little more than $63 for barrel. WTI crude oil with delivery in February fell in price on Monday by 6.7%, up to $42.53 for barrel, the similar contract for Brent dropped by 6.2%, up to $50.47 for barrel. For both reference brands the values reached during trading on Monday were minimum since July, 2017.
