Commenting on the dismissal, the ex-deputy head of AP on the page on Facebook has reported that he leaves civil service to return to business. "Transformation of the country, management of changes, assistance to system reforms, creation of processes and teams, start of initiatives and advance of image of Ukraine in the world was my purpose. Today key reforms and initiatives are started. And therefore, having carried out objectives, I have decided to return to the elements – business", - Shimkiv has written. In the message he has reminded that he has come to civil service in 2014 by Petro Poroshenko's invitation, "because has seen an opportunity to apply the experience of the manager on management of changes to development of Ukraine". "I always positioned myself as the politician technocrat and repeatedly refused continuation of political career at other positions", - Shimkiv has explained. He has added that for 4 years with his active participation the National Reform Council has been created, technologies of transfer of mobile data 3G and 4G are started, the plan of visa liberalization with the European Union is developed, anti-corruption laws are adopted. Also the ex-deputy head of AP, according to him, dealt with issues of automatic compensation of the VAT, start of system of electronic procurement of ProZorro, contributed to the development of electronic document flow and cyber security, participated in development of strategy of sustainable development Ukraine-2020. Besides, Shimkiv has congratulated Sergey Marchenko on appointment to the post of the presidentns deputy chief of staff. "I would like to congratulate Sergey Marchenko on appointment, continuation of those initiatives which are begun by the president of Ukraine, to wish practices, interesting results. Sergey has a wide experience both in Presidential Administration, and in the Cabinet, especially with questions of financing, reforms of finance. I congratulate him on this appointment and I expect continuation of that movement of reforms which has been begun", - he has told at a briefing in Kiev after the message about resignation. In turn, the new appointed deputy head Apsergey Marchenkopoblagodaril Shimkiva also has promised "to make those affairs which he has begun and to finish those decisions which have been begun".
