Gas consumption grows in Ukraine


Gas consumption by industrialists and теплокоммунэнерго has sharply grown. The population has reduced fuel use. In seven months 2018 Ukraine has increased consumption of gas by 2,6% - up to 19,5 billion cubic meters, in comparison with the same period of 2017. Data of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry demonstrate to it. In particular, the industry has increased consumption of gas by 13,8% - up to 6,6 billion cubic meters, the population and budgetary institutions - have reduced by 1,4%, up to 7,1 billion cubic meters теплокоммунэнерго - have increased by 5,4%, up to 3,9 billion cubic meters. As it was reported, in the first quarter 2018 the population has consumed natural gas 56% more in comparison with the IV quarter 2017. At the moment gas reserves in storages have exceeded 16 billion cubic meters. We will note, in 2017 Ukraine has reduced consumption of gas by 6,3% - up to 28,4 billion cubic meters.
