Avakov opposed Poroshenko's decree


The Minister of Internal Affairs was the only member of the Cabinet of Ministers who voted against resignation of the governor of Odessa region Stepanov. The Interior Minister Arsen Avakov during consideration of a question of resignation of the governor of Odessa region at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday, April 10, voted against the decree the president, Ukrainian Pravda reports. The minister considers that the head of the Odessa RSA is dismissed "for political motives". "He counteracted falsification, counteracted "grid" – he is dismissed", – the Interior Minister considers. He called the decision on resignation of the governor "non-state". As it was reported, two days to that the president Petro Poroshenko issued the decree on Stepanov's discharge and appointment to its post of Sergey Parashchenko which is a member of presidential party. Later on the same day Poroshenko promised that he will not appoint business partner and close people to key positions any more.
